I absolutely love my job. I couldn't ask for a happier place to be than in labor and delivery. I get to be part of the most exciting moment for families. But there are some days that are just so hard. Seeing people having such a magical precious thing, and I don't get to have one for myself stinks. Maybe someday, but not today

I am now finally an official RN (REAL NURSE)!!! JK It is great to know that I passed my NCLEX and no longer have to study nursing school!!! Yeah Me!!!

Busy Life

Our lives these last couple moths have been crazy, hectic, and unforgettable! First of all Robert is working a ton of hours which is a good thing because I'm still out on maternity leave! Kylie is getting so big so fast! She is now 7 weeks old, and yes I'm still counting weeks! She smiles all he time now and is cooing and giggling. It makes up for all the sleepless nights we have! I have been trying to finish my last semester in nursing school. And today was finally my VERY LAST DAY of classes and now all I have is finals and NCLEX classes so hopefully I will past my test the first time! Thanks to my family and Robert's family I am able to say I am going to graduate on Dec 11, 2009 with my bachelors in nursing!

Baby Kylie

Our lives have changed dramastically in the last month. We had a beautiful baby girl on Oct. 2. She was 6 lb 13 oz and 19.5" long. We named her Kylie Christine Hugie. She is happy and healthy and has made our home crazy and hectic, but we are loving it!

Summer Fun

This summer has gone by so fast. Robert is still working a ton of hours. Christy is still trying to figure out how OB works but still loves it. We have found time to have lots of fun with what time we do have together. We figure this is the last summer before our whole lives change!

What's New In Our Lives

This summer has brought many changes for us. First, Robert is keeping very busy at work. He works about 5-12hr days a week. He is exhausted and ready for a vacation. Second, Christy has changed jobs. She is now working over on OB as an LPN. She is having a great time, and learning so much. The biggest news is that Christy is pregnant! We are having a little girl, and we couldn't be more excited! All the time we have off together it is getting things ready for her so that Christy doesn't have to stress during her last semester in school.

I am now officially a LPN!!! I took the PN NCLEX on March 16th and passed! It is so nice. Now I only have 4 weeks of this semester left. I've just been keeping busy with work and school. Robert is working a ton of hours and is exhausted when he is at home, but he does still like his job. Only he wishes he could have off more so he can start feeling refreshed again.

One and a half months down from this semester, and only two and a half left! This has been a real busy semester, but I have enjoyed it more then the last one! Robert is doing good. He has been working lots of hours, and gives me time to do homework. We both worked on Valentine's day, but we got to spend the night together and enjoy each other's company. We had a nice quiet dinner at home just me and him, and of course the dog and cat! Well, Happy Valentine's Day to everyone.

Schools Out!

I made it through the 2nd semester of nursing school!!! Better yet, Robert made it through! It was a long and stressful semester but I did it and now I'm half way there! These last 3 weeks have flown by. We got to have a nice Christmas and New Years together. We didn't do much but spend time with our families and each other. Now starting on Monday another semester starts. Then I go back to being mean and stressed out, while Robert waits patiently for me to be normal again! Hope everyone had a great Christmas & happy New Year.

School is about half over for the semester! It has been a busy couple of months. Here is my first IV stick!
For Robert's birthday we went up to Salem and spent it with his family. He got some new toys to play with. He started a new collection of guns, and looks for deals every where we go.

It has been a while since we have updated everyone. First let me tell you a little about our summer. We had some inspiration from Emily and Dustin to start working on our backyard. We still have a long way to go, but we were able to get started before school started back in. We had some fun camping & fishing trips too during our summer.

Hope every one's Fourth of July was lots of fun! Robert & I both worked it, but then we got to go do fireworks with his family up in Salem. We played volleyball and badminton all weekend long. On Sunday we went to Timpanogas Caves with his family and had a great time. It was beautiful first thing in the morning.

I thought I would catch up with everyone. First of all, our summer has been relaxing with lots of working. The most exciting thing that has happened was Christy had surgery on her hand yesterday to remove a cyst. She is doing great and is back to work tomorrow. We've been able to do some camping on weekends, and just trying to enjoy each other until Christy starts back into school in August.
